Information
Manufactured from 1957, the Pattern 123 was constructed of aluminium alloy pressure die castings with a spun aluminium inner lining and contained a prefocus lamp holder and a spherical reflector both adjustable relative to the lens.
This compact spotlight provides a circular soft-edged beam completely free of filament striation. The beam spread is variable between wide limits by a simple slide focus.
The light is collected by a recessed 6-in. diameter short focus Fresnel lens supplemented by a spherical reflector. The beam spread can be contained by a four-sided rotate able barn door attachment which can be added to the front colour frame runners. This spotlight is recommended for highlighting on small stages, for photographic studios and for display and exhibition work.
This light is modified to take any BC light bulb, and is supplied with a 15watt General Electric T2 Spiral compact florescent energy efficient bulb.
