Manufactured between 1953 - 1968, the pattern 23 was the first mass-produced theatre spotlight in the World. The standard lantern with a single lens gives beam angles up to 22 degrees.
The ventilated die-cast aluminium body is hinged at the rear to give access for lamping and cleaning. Rear part carries a 7-in. diameter super pure anodised reflector and the front half a 7-in. diameter annular spherical reflector to collect light which would otherwise be masked off and wasted.
This light is modified to take any BC light bulb, and is supplied with a 15watt General Electric T2 Spiral compact florescent energy efficient bulb.

This light has been stripped and polished . The inside of this light is painted black and heat resistant to 150 degrees.
